Petia is a seasoned software engineer at Bloomberg with a two-and-a-half-year tenure. Originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, she joined Bloomberg shortly after earning her Computer Science degree from the University of Manchester. Her career journey includes stints at JP Morgan and Amazon during her university years, which enriched her technical skills. Beyond coding, Petia is an enthusiastic traveler and an avid artist. She also shares her life experiences on her YouTube channel, making her an all-around creative and tech-savvy individual.
Eliza Jonauskyte
Software Engineering Team Lead at Bloomberg
Eliza Jonauskyte is a Software Engineering Team Lead at Bloomberg, where she has worked for over five years. Starting as an intern, Eliza quickly progressed to her current role, overseeing a team of developers and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards. In addition, Eliza is a passionate advocate for Diversity and Inclusion, working as a leading member of the EMEA Engineering Allyship group at Bloomberg. In this role, she has been instrumental in running some of the inclusion workshops and has represented Bloomberg at various diversity and inclusion-focused conferences and events. Eliza is driven by the belief that creating an inclusive workplace environment is key to driving fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and improved business outcomes. In her free time, Eliza likes to bake and decorate cakes and she is an avid traveler.
