As a Product Manager for New Relic Log Management, you will define product capabilities that help organizations make their digital systems more reliable and secure in order to better serve their customers. You will work on a fast growing product that is relied upon by thousands of organizations around the world, and you will help expand the business further. Success in this role will require you to be a curious observer of customer needs and market dynamics, a brilliant strategist to come up with winning product ideas, and a great communicator and leader to orchestrate research, development, go-to-market and customer engagement efforts throughout the company. 

What You’ll Do

  • Define and drive the product strategy for various aspects of the rapidly growing New Relic Log Management solution and collaborate with UX and engineering to build a high quality product. Develop near-term and long-term product roadmaps, drive the alignment of key releases to deliver on the roadmap, adjust the roadmap as needed based on key results, customer demand, and changes in execution resources.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand the challenges they face with sending, storing, managing, and analyzing Log data as part of their overall observability and security strategy. Work cross functionally with teams to provide business context, support, and success criteria that will delight our customers.
  • Research trends in the Log Management market and competitive dynamics to identify business growth opportunities, and drive innovation and thought leadership.
  • Help drive consumption, revenue growth and customer satisfaction by working with go-to-market and customer success organizations.
  • Cultivate an inclusive environment where varied perspectives thrive.

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 2+ years of product management experience
  • Technical understanding of Log data, Logging solutions, and common challenges in this domain.
  • Experience with delivering SaaS solutions to market
  • Experience leading matrix teams through impact rather than authority
  • Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
  • Experience creating strategic product roadmaps, and working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to explain complex technical design in 20 seconds or 20 minutes, depending on the audience and goals

Nice-to-have:

  • Previous experience working on log management products
  • Previous experience working on security operations management products
