New Relic’s Business Applications Team is looking for a business-focused Senior Manager to drive systems implementations, ongoing improvements, and lead production support requests for Go-To-Market. The leader will manage a team of developers and systems administrators working cross-functionally with our business units.
You have demonstrated experience as a solution delivery leader, excited about the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that is integral to project planning. You will bring to bear your passion for driving large, technical programs from end to end. You would be instrumental in aligning multiple business groups and technology teams to accomplish program objectives. You are a hands-on leader and seek ownership of large, critical projects. You will be someone who enjoys designing solutions to solve problems rather than focusing on completing tasks as fast as possible
What you'll do
- Oversight of delivering systems implementations and enhancements including
- business requirements gathering, system evaluation, system design and
- implementation, testing, roll-out planning, and ongoing support
- Form strong working partnerships with Go To Market and Global Tech Support
- stakeholders and within the Business Applications group
- Lead strategic system planning and build roadmaps with business leaders and across Business Applications.
- Develop and recruit a team of Salesforce administrators and developers to deliver projects and perform maintenance activities for Salesforce.com.
- Drive system implementation best practice on Salesforce.com. Collaborate with solution architects and security to ensure the scalability and stability of the platform.
- Effectively communicate across all levels to ensure team and project success.
- When conflicts and decisions arise, drive the team to resolution, including presenting options to executive leaders for decisions
- Handle relations with SaaS system vendors. Manage renewals or new contracts
- in collaboration with the Vendor Management Office
This role requires
- 8+ years of Salesforce systems implementation experience in a scaled agile environment, preferably for a large company responsible for leading enterprise-level programs with multi-functional teams.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of go-to-market and enterprise support processes, including
- Lead-to-Quote, Quote-to-Cash, Customer Adoption, and Customer Support.
- 4+ years of management experience with demonstrated skills growing, leading, and developing teams for success.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field.
- Experience with agile methodologies particularly SCRUM.
- Experience with program/portfolio management toolsets (JIRA/Portfolio/Confluence).
- Excellent communications skills for both business and technical audiences

- Salesforce Admin and/or CPQ, Service Cloud certifications
- Experience with consumption SaaS model
