Job Summary

As an ATS, you will utilize your strong technical competencies and customer service orientation to provide the  technical consultation to sales teams and their customers on Solution related topics. You will engage in POC/Benchmarking Test to meet customer requirement as well as new IT solutions such as Infrastructure, cloud, K8s solutions and applications. You will provide enterprise account teams in your area with guidance on appropriate solutions to propose to their customers and will help resolve situations where customer performance expectations are not being met.

Essential Functions:

The essential responsibilities of the ATS are to work directly with customers in pre-sales situations, and to work effectively across functions with other NetApp employees in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Professional Service areas.  


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Engage in defining on-site Solution based tests and POC/ Benchmarking Test to ensure best results.  
  • Providing guidance or architecting on Storage (SAN/NAS/Object), application, and Virtualization.
  • New IT trend knowledge (Public Cloud, AI, K8s) skillset is preferred to support a variety of customer requirement.
  • Providing storage architecture guidance for performance-sensitive scenarios 
  • Sharing and teaching expert knowledge to Partners
  • Enterprise account experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Strong Storage background and new IT trend knowledge (public cloud, AI, K8s) preferred.
  • Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills are needed in order work successfully with prospects, customers, and cross functional teams to meet performance goals.
  • Account management and project management experience.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment. 
  • Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices.
  • Creative approach to problem solving.
  • Travel to the prospective customer's sites as necessary
  • English skill is preferred.
