Position Summary
The Associate Change Management Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that projects (change initiatives) meet objectives. The primary responsibility is to support and implement change management strategies and operational plans that facilitate and maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
This person focuses on supporting the Change Team in maximizing and optimizing resources and plans utilizing a variety of disciplines.
Change specialists help move organizational change forward by:
Building an awareness of and a desire for committing to change
Supporting employees as they build the proper skills and tools, they need to enact change
Establishing a bond of trust and strong two-way communication mechanisms
Collaborating and assist in developing change strategy
Qualifications
Specific job responsibilities for change management specialists can include but are not limited to:

Partnering on and facilitating needs assessments

Drafting communications tailored to diverse stakeholder groups.

Has the ability to coordinate project activities to best execute required actions
-
Processing feedback and analyzing data to inform strategy adjustments and measure effectiveness around effectiveness of change activities.

Assist in the development of support and training materials
-
Supporting resistance management strategies
-
Coordinate efforts with other specialized groups as needed to execute change strategies
-
Accurately tracking and executing on established change strategy and support material development activities within Azure DevOps
-
Actively participating in Program Increment Plannings, ensuring alignment of change plans with overall program goals, creating and maintain quality data hygiene.

Coordinating and supporting workshops or focus groups to gather insights and drive engagement.

Contributing to stakeholder engagement plans and maintaining stakeholder analysis matrices.

Creating and maintaining reports on adoption metrics, training completion rates, and feedback trends.
Skills and Qualifications
-
Fair understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with change models is a plus

4 - 6 years of experience in the relevant field

Basic knowledge of tools like PROSCI ADKAR, stakeholder analysis frameworks, or change readiness assessments.

Understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.

Understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to learn data analysis practices and basic data analysis proficiency (e.g., summarizing adoption and readiness metrics).

Excellent active listening skills.

Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.

Flexible and adaptable; able to work creatively in ambiguous situations.

Organized and detail oriented

Must be a team player and be able to work collaboratively with and through others.

Good understanding of project management approaches, and tools and phases of the project life cycle.

Proficiency in using content development tools like PowToon, Piktochart, Canva, Articulate, or others to create engaging materials.
-
Exposure to Agile methodologies and participation in ceremonies like sprint planning, retrospectives, or standups is a plus.

Experience in supporting digital transformation, ERP implementations, or cultural change initiatives is an advantage.

Any certifications (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP) or familiarity with Azure DevOps/Jira for tracking is preferred but not required.
