We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead/Scrum Master to join the team responsible for delivering enterprise products/solution for Imaging. As part of this dynamic and growing team, you will work closely with multiple Scrum teams, interacting with program stakeholders, and executing technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and/or external customers. You will also oversee all key stages like overall planning, design & build, verification & validation, and deploy milestones to drive project delivery aligned with the overall program delivery for GE’s PACS solution.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

·       Manage 2-3 scrum teams

·       Ensure scope and timeline is finalized and project plan is aligned with program plan

·       Groom, Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups

·       Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure team delivers all deliverables as per the agreed plan

·       Manage scope changes, risks & other non-standard events throughout project lifecycle

·       Ensure strict compliance to GEHC’s quality management system (QMS) process/policies

·       Ensure adherence to GE’s pre-defined project management processes and practices. Drive simplification and improvement where necessary by securing required approvals

·       Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected and actioned

·       Track and publish weekly reports and sprint burndowns, velocity

·       Continue to enhance team’s productivity, velocity by systematic improvements

·       Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations

·       Proactively resolve impediments, dependencies, and perform effective risk mitigation

·       Support project team with resolution for interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required

·       Work with technical team often comprising of members of other products/teams to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan

·       Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting

·       Coach team members with hybrid (waterfall/Agile) framework and methodologies

·       Be the point of contact for all the deliverables

·       Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration

Education Qualification

·       Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

·       10+ years of overall IT experience and 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master/Technical Lead

Desired Characteristics:

•         Proven experience as a scrum master/technical lead in developing software application from scratch

•         Adept in enterprise software architecture and technical design strategies

•         Hands-on development/automation experience for Java based enterprise applications

•         Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)

•         Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources

·       Demonstrated Customer Focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer and understand the dependencies across solution

·       Demonstrated Solution Focus – evaluates decisions by understanding the impact on the solution instead of individual product/component

·       Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans

·       Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly

·       Exposure to Requirements management, architecture/ design will be a plus

·       Hands-on experience on Scope/Task management tool(s) like Rally, Jira

·       ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications will be a plus
