As a Finance Systems O2C - Product Manager , you will be responsible for managing Order to cash applications and working with key stakeholders developing a clear strategic direction addressing the needs of products within your portfolio. You will work with cross functional teams and deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements, managing successful delivery of the product features and functionalities. Your priority is a seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Service Owners and Developers.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Partners with functional product owner to define features backlog and requirements, works with technical team internal and external to the initiative to ensure outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality

  • This role will involve managing the Order to Cash track of the Finance Systems program by collaborating with Functional and IT CoE's, driving remediation and ensuring smooth rollout of enterprise initiatives across multiple regions

  • Lead overall program execution in partnership with program teams and functional resources

  • Manage key program related discussions and drive critical decisions to complex problems

  • Manages deliverables for O2C track aspects of one or more medium to large and/or complex projects / milestones from initiation through closure

  • Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams

  • Clearly communicate status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to the program/functional Leadership

  • Managing escalation and to obtain necessary help, when needed

  • Participate in the issue resolution process, determines business requirements, proposes changes, and develops migration plans, execute projects with clear milestones

  • Assist the business in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they are then integrated with other business and technical processes

  • Research development in assigned technology, helps determine business requirements, proposes changes, creates technical design (MD 60) in partnership with the application architecture team, performs Proof of concept (POC), and works closely with the DEVOPS team to drive development and unit testing of proposed design

  • Maintain functional peer relationships and detailed working knowledge of the assigned area’s systems, organization, and business processes

  • Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.

  • Own the releases and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs (Minimum viable product) and quarterly releases.

  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.

  • Demonstrate strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.

  • Engage frequently (50% of the time) with the architecture and development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.

  • Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.

Education Qualification

  • BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent

  • A minimum of 10+ years of working experience along with established leadership credentials in major ERP (Oracle/SAP) in modules like Accounts Receivable, Order Management, Cash Management and Reporting solution.

  • Experience in managing enterprise medium to complex projects gathering requirement, validating options within ERP or SaaS application, deriving compliant solutions.

  • Prior IT experience in a multinational Organization, with cross functional and IT support teams

  • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and to navigate through matrix organization and get things done.

  • Proactive, self-learner, willingness to adopt to changes and perform under pressure

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in Project Management and Product Management tools and processes

  • Experience in SDLC and Agile working environment

  • Lean Six Sigma/ PMP certified

  • Experience working in a global matrix organization, preferably in the Healthcare industry
