Supply Chain Analyst - Remote

The Supply Chain team is part of the Infrastructure Engineering & Operations in the Cloud Technology Group. We collaborating with various teams. We support the deployment and maintenance of the Akamai Network, managing network equipment throughout its lifecycle. This includes planning, procurement, import/export, warehousing, distribution, customs compliance, repairs, and recycling.

Join our global Supply Chain team within Infrastructure Engineering & Operations

You will be collaborating with manufacturers, carriers, and repair vendors. You will support the many functions of our Supply Chain organization. You will perform reporting and analysis to maintain our hardware supply chain. You will have support from our international team. Your work will ensure that we scale our supply chain efficiently and achieve operational excellence.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Managing daily operations and performance for one or more Supply Chain service providers.
• Negotiating with multiple vendors to secure optimal pricing and favorable terms.
• Scheduling and revising orders to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy internal and external customers.
• Monitoring equipment inventories (flagging inventory discrepancies, correcting, and communicating activity to internal stakeholder teams).
• Preparing import/export documentation in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Updating internal documentation with all process changes impacting region and vendors.
• Ensuring surplus defective warranty equipment is repaired/replaced and made available for deployment.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have prior experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics fields.
• Have excellent Excel skills (particularly with Pivot Tables).
• Demonstrate analytical and quantitative capabilities with an ability to provide data-backed analysis.
• Have experience with international shipping and required documents.
