Session: Build a Python Application with Mantium and the Power of Natural Language Processing
In this workshop, I will guide participants through organizing, building, and deploying a Python application that uses a large language model to generate creative text using Mantium's Python client library. Mantium will enable participants to quickly prototype and iterate on an AI-powered creative writing task, and using the client library, we will create a simple standalone application with Python. This workshop will cover a basic, high-level overview of ML/NLP, the principles of a clean, organized Python project, and developing a standalone Python application that uses a large language model.Key Takeaways

Bio
Svitlana is a Software Engineer at Mantium, a company whose mission is to democratize the AI space. She has a mix of traditional and non-traditional tech industry backgrounds, beginning with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics in 2014, ten years of hospitality experience including being a sommelier and beverage program director, graduating from a Data Science boot camp in 2021, and most recently her work in Software Engineering and Developer Relations. She is passionate about inspiring femme people and those from non-traditional backgrounds to enter the fields of Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI.
