Bio
With a diverse background spanning leadership in public relations, communication, and media, E. J. Alawode co-convenes EmpowHer—an initiative addressing the challenges young women face in emerging economies. Volunteering as Director of Woman Who Code in Barcelona, she supports diverse women to excel in technology careers. As a Digital Changemaker and Ambassador on World Pulse, E. J. joins other leaders to amplify women's voices for change. Conferred with fellowships like Google Women Techmakers Ambassador, Mid-Career Fellow, Internet Society, and Every Woman Treaty Indrani Leadership Fellow, E. J. is dedicated to the global empowerment of women. Having earned double master's degrees in International Communication, she is in a doctoral program focused on digital literacy and women's empowerment.
