Today, she’s now advising as an attorney for several businesses that bring innovative products and services to the market. Ashli's committed to supporting the tech industry. She spends her free time working with early-stage companies through 500 Startups and advises as the Chief Legal Officer for WomenTech Network. Ashli’s regularly featured in globally recognized publications, with her most recent being The Guardian, NBC News, and Nasdaq.
Jessica Payne, is no newcomer to the Cryptocurrency/Bitcoin world – in fact, she made her first foray into the world of “Crypto” in 2017. During her early days in San Diego based company Edge formerly known as Airbitz, Jessica would assume the role of Controller, the company's resident “Jill of all Skills”, and ready to change the world, one conference and meet up at a time. After 4 and a half years with Edge, in late 2021 Jessica joined Halborn Inc, as their Director of Operation.
Prior to working with Edge & Halborn Jessica had worked at a few startups that hadn’t truly peaked her interest after graduation from Cal State San Marcos University, with the dual degree. Jessica’s desire to have something that would stimulate her mathematical mind, and her ability to manage multiple projects at a time, she knew that she was going to have to find her niche industry.
A refreshing deviation from markets saturated by the rich and deep-pocketed corporations, Jessica was excited to be dealing with a currency or currencies that are technically unbanked, unbacked and really ready for the people to “own” their funds. Jessica has currently been working with Award winning Ethical Hackers at Halborn to keep the blockchains safe, exploits known, and rug pull destroyed. At the same time, utilizing crypto for its incomparable payment method, payroll, and lifestyle.
