Work with our Largest and most Strategic Accounts

You'll be selling Akamai solutions to existing & new customers within the Public Sector in the UK&I region. You will be responsible for the full customer life cycle. Working with marketing on lead generation to deal closure, customer management & renewals. You'll be supported by cross-functional internal teams, ensuring success with new customer acquisition & building customer loyalty.

As a Senior Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Fostering long term relationships through positioning valued solutions to meet your customers unique needs.
  • Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting. Managing contract renewals. Minimising lost revenue and churn.
  • Prospecting and acquiring new customers. Upselling & Cross selling the Akamai portfolio to your install base.
  • Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure your customers realise the Value of their Akamai services.
  • Working with channel partners to increase pipeline and develop relationships with customers.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have relevant sales experience working with Public Sector organisations.
  • Have experience selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based technology solutions.
  • Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning, selling value at C-Level.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cyber security.
  • Have experience working in a collaborative, results oriented environment building executive level relationships with high-level customers.
  • Have experience working with channel partners to develop and close business.
