JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a highly skilled and creative Training Content Engineer to join our team. Candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality training materials with our worldwide product engineering team. This role requires, excellent communication skills, admirable Powerpoint presentation skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible and engaging training content.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Development: Design, develop, and update training materials including presentations, videos, and other support content.
  • Technical Writing: Create clear and concise technical documentation that effectively communicates complex engineering concepts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality training content.
  • Quality Assurance: Review training materials to ensure they meet quality standards and are effective in achieving learning objectives.
  • Feedback Integration: Gather feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Maintenance: Maintain Knowledge Base site (Sharepoint) to keep the training content accessible and up to date.


ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in presentation creation tools (e.g., Powerpoint), enterprise content management systems (ECMS, e.g. Sharepoint), and other relevant software.
  • Engineering Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronic engineering principles and practices across various disciplines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information.
  • Multimedia Skills: Ability to create and edit multimedia content including presentations, charts, graphics, videos, voiceovers, and animations.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong general analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Technical Communication, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, instructional design, or a related field within an engineering environment.
