Job Summary

As a NetApp Global Service Logistics Program Manager, you participate in providing project management services for internal operational programs from initiation through delivery. These GSL professionals act in the role of in-house subject matter experts and manage across an array of internal processes and systems relevant to the successful completion of internal services/support goals including technical and logistical requirements, identifying tasks, assigning and coordinating resources and creating/tracking project schedules.   This is a challenging position with the opportunity to work collaboratively with professionals in a number of Service and Product Operations functions, with a focus on developing, managing, tracking and documenting internal operational programs and projects. 

Essential Functions:

  • Establish Service Parts Logistics integrations into NetApp business systems and processes (SolidFire, etc.)
  • Input to and approve CSIR and QSR field retrofit program management, execute GSL portion to completion.
  • Review and Approve/Reject FPVR request for support extension.
  • Review and provide requirements and input of contract/SOW negotiations with suppliers and customer. Participate in negotiations when required.
  • PM the RMA process with new CM's and ODM's
  • Program Manage system changes and other major initiatives that have a global impact with 3PL partners and NetApp GSL systems, i.e., SAP, Oracle and Baxter (B2B connectivity)
  • Support day-to-day 3PL systems issues.
  • Manage and maintain FRU Parts Finder Tool
  • Program Manage RFP and other significant projects for Service Parts Logistics

Job Requirements

  • 12 years of relevant related experience required.
  • Previous experience defining, managing and tracking logistics related service/support requirements, deliverables, schedules and milestones for programs and projects within GSL.
  • Ability to develop longer-range project plans and schedules for individual work or for a small team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, cross-functionally across internal functions, orgs, and with suppliers to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined feature and metrics requirements.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
  • Preferred experience with Service SAP CRM and Oracle ERP.
  • Program Management training, a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operational management, or a related field or equivalent experience.  Master’s degree preferred.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is 
[$156,420] - [$219,800] and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
