Job Summary

An Area Renewals Manager is responsible for driving strategy and execution of renewal sales. This includes managing a team of Retention Specialists, strategy and execution of install base management of the existing customers within an Area or Region in the effort to retain (as primary focus) and grow customer base. 

Key responsibilities include :

  • To motivate and cultivate a healthy mindset positive attitude across team
  • Accountable for Area, Country or Region performance and forecast accuracy
  • Drive team to accurate forecasting and proper pipeline hygiene, key performance indicators, discount governance, territory planning outcomes and other development opportunities
  • To represent renewal excellence organization at C suite level internally and externally with professionalism
  • Prepare, host and deliver quarterly business renews with NetApp sales leaders, NetApp partners including distributors
  • Establish profitable relationships with supporting organizations including quoting specialist leaders, sales, partner managers to align strategy and qualify retention and growth opportunity
  • Meet with partners to educate and promote NetApp Support solutions and business priorities
  • Act as an escalation point for internal and external disputes to seek resolution
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to all members of your team
  • Hold regular team meetings delivering performance expectations and filtering down key messaging
  • Offer insight and thought leadership for team goaling, strategic initiatives and peer collaboration

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience in driving strategy and execution of renewal sales
  • Experience in a similar industry (Storage/ Hardware).
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in people management and coaching, including remote/virtual management.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing P&L
  • Aptitude and readiness for learning and understanding new technologies.
  • Strong ability to use data to drive insights, and execute
  • Has strong senior leadership level communication and organizational skills 
  • Interacts and collaborates with cross functional teams across time zones and cultures

Education

Any graduation with at least 10 years of overall experience
