Job Description Summary
Responsible for leading the cyber security activities for the next-generation CT scanner. This includes setting the architectural and design direction of the system to improve cyber security, ensuring the system meets all internal & external cyber security standards, working with government and regulatory agencies, working with GEHC's internal cyber security experts, and ensuring all appropriate cyber security documentation is complete and accurate.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities

Set the architectural direction and cyber security roadmap for the product
-
Ensure the system meets all internal & external cyber security standards

Work on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver security solutions
-
Ensure product cyber security documentation is complete and accurate
-
Act as advisor and coach to junior team members
-
Allocate and be responsible for the quality of work in others, including leading teams of teams to accomplish project deliverables

Train new team members in specific technology or process area of cyber security
-
Communicate across direct organization and across the cyber security function in area of expertise

Present to senior leaders (SPB and EB) in specific technical space and on cross-functional teams on how their domain contributes to the overall cyber security strategy
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 6 years of experience

Comprehensive, in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the domain of cyber security

Strong knowledge of current security concepts, risks, and technologies in medical device sector

Detailed understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and authentication

Up-to-date on latest developments in cyber security

Experience with SLES or other Linux-based operating systems
