We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Microsoft Teams Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting the Microsoft (MS) Teams platform, Microsoft Teams Rooms and TelePresence for GE Healthcare. You will work in close collaboration with the wider Digital Workplace teams to formulate the strategy for Microsoft Teams, the migration to our new GEHC environment, define the standards for Microsoft Teams Rooms and TelePresence as an overall leader in our Microsoft Collaboration space.

Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Design and implement an MS Teams platform and solutions that meets organizational requirements. 

  • Administer and configure the MS Teams platform, including but not limited to user management, security and compliance policies, app integrations, and data migration. 

  • Ensure MS Teams configuration and policies are complaint with security, compliance, and regulatory policies or requirements. 

  • Collaborate with the DWP and other GE Healthcare technical teams to ensure proper integration with other tools and systems, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Apps/Automate and Power BI. 

  • Drive MS Teams migration and deployment planning, testing and execution for GE Healthcare. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Teams migration/deployment. 

  • Contribute to and provide updates for MS Teams migration/deployment project plan. 

  • Develop the GEHC catalog for Microsoft Teams Rooms, utilising best practise on market vendors and suitability and sizing for our GEHC DWP and Infrastructure environment.

  • Stay up to date with new features and updates to the Microsoft Teams platform and make recommendations for implementation. Develop DWP MS Teams roadmap. 

  • Implement controls to ensure adoption of GEHC Microsoft Teams Rooms and TelePresence standards and partner with providers to deliver top tier support and break fix processes.

  • Manage and monitor usage analytics to understand and share adoption analysis with leadership. 

  • Develop and implement best practices for using Microsoft Teams and contribute to end-user learning curricula and materials. 

  • Provide guidance and technical support to Support Operations, troubleshoot escalated issues related to the Microsoft Teams platform. 

  • Contribute to technical support training and learning materials. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 

  • At least 3 years of experience in MS Teams administration and management  

  • Experience with MS Teams migration a plus 

  • Microsoft certification in M365 Teams or related technology is a plus 

  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent critical thinking skills. 

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and other automation tools is a plus.
