Session: Women of Color in Tech: Qualified but Overlooked
Companies say they can't find qualified women of color in tech. Why is that? It's not the lack of skill. Women of color face barriers and obstacles related to race and gender in the technology industry. This talk will detail the inequality of women of color in tech being underrepresented, underpaid, and discriminated against in the white male-dominated industry. I will explain the biases women of color in tech face and the impact on these women. This talk will leave you ready to take action in order to close the racial and gender wage gap that women of color in tech endure.
