Session: Leaving your Personal Leadership Mark
Your value is the foundation of your personal brand – you, your personality, your skills, and your story are a brand of your own.
When others understand your skills, impact, and the value you bring to the table, it’s easier to position yourself for the opportunities that are right for you and work with people who are aligned with your goals. Your sense of self-worth helps you trust your own judgment and make better decisions. These are important leadership qualities that can help you advance in your career. But it should also come with great communication skills. Your unvarnished truth and you being able to show vulnerability help you build rapport and humanize your message.
Your skills are important but how you translate those into an action that’s relevant to others creates a statement. Almost everything that I write and do is about self-helping. I use my personal experience to connect, inspire and empower women and girls to embrace their authentic selves, and find the courage to define what success means to them.
