Session: Holistic Solutioning for Future Technology Commercialization
The commercialization of technologies has generally followed the approach of supply and demand to serve a single product to a Customer need. The Customer need is singular solving a problem or providing a new service to benefit them. Future technologies need to consider a holistic approach to the customer in "Unified Commerce" offering true omni experiences to customers or "holistic support" to people with disabilities. How might we offer a more unified commerce experience for our customers? How can we provide technology solutions to enable people with disabilities more independence? The opportunity for technology to meet Customers where they are with holistic experiences will win.
Bio
Karla Tankersley is technology professional with over twenty years in engineering, product, automation and innovation with Fortune 500 companies. Karla is currently earning her PhD from Purdue University with research focused on Technology Solutions for Independent Living for People with Intellectual Disabilities.
