Session: Colombian Makers; The Power of Communities
The talk aims to provide a look at the power of communities and the impact of a decentralized network of more than 3000 makers that have come together nationwide to help fabricate 3D printed and laser cutted face shields for health professionals. This initiative has caught attention from the national government, the corporate world, the academy, and The United Nations Development Programme which have empowered the community with resources, logistics and connections to keep helping during the de covid-19 crisis.We are working to keep the community growing, working and developing strategic alliances to keep contributing to solve the country’s major problems and sharing solutions with the rest of the world.
Bio
Innovation Specialist with 5+ years of experience designing and executing creative and strategic projects in line with design thinking and experiential learning methodologies for global corporations, educational institutions, and startups. I have clear expertise helping clients to shape and achieve their innovation strategies by designing and facilitating workshops leading to build and coach internal innovation teams.My passions include social entrepreneurship, yoga & meditation. I enjoy my time traveling and I love spicy food!
