Partner with the best

Working directly with government organizations, you will play a critical, deeply-technical role in the successful integration and ongoing support of mission-critical websites and applications, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Collaborating with teams, you'll own technical implementation of products to optimize the experience and value customer's gain from their Akamai partnership.

As a Solutions Architect II - Government Services, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with a cross-functional project team to create technical solutions and supporting ongoing implementation
• Owning technical aspects of solution delivery and support to configure, debug, document, test, go-live and identify risks
• Participating on internal projects to contribute to best practices, improving our methodology and quality of solution delivery
• Facilitating the testing and live deployment of solutions, ensuring smooth and timely integrations for customers
• Working closely with Akamai and customer teams to design the best solutions and implementation plans
• Partnering with customers to understand their technical and business needs, to ensure customer success

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have U.S. CITIZENSHIP due to legal requirements of our customer base
• Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, another related field or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the IT industry
• Show some understanding of working with network technologies, web development languages, methodologies and architectures
• Be an excellent communicator with an ability to build trusting relationships and ensure customer success
• Have a desire to solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions
• Be comfortable working within a Linux command line environment
