The Revenue Accountant will assist with revenue-related general ledger, revenue recognition, close processes, financial reporting duties, and revenue operations. A qualified candidate will be detail oriented, deadline driven, possess a strong understanding of GAAP, adapt to a high paced environment, and be able to thrive in a collaborative environment. 

What you'll do
  • Review revenue contracts against the ASC 606 revenue criteria
  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting, and data verification
  • Support timely financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of operational accounts
  • Assist with financial and SOX audits
  • Participate in streamlining and process improvement projects 
  • Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc requests, and other assigned tasks

This role requires
  • Working U.S. business hours
  • Min 1 year of full cycle accounting experience
  • Public accounting experience 1-2 years
  • Intuitive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (specifically ASC 606)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize efficiently, and use technology to build efficiencies
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Proven track record to maintain confidentiality
  • Accurate, detailed, and deadline-driven
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments, goals, and priorities
  • Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Curious- seeks knowledge and ways to increase efficiencies

Bonus points if you have
  • CPA license
  • Big 4 experience
  • SAAS industry experience
  • Familiarity with Netsuite, SalesForce, Zuora Billing Platform,
