Job Summary

As a Supply Planning and Available to Promise (ATP) Business Analyst, you will utilize your functional and application expertise to identify opportunities and make recommendations to enhance supply planning and available to promise (ATP) processes. You will be

responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain master data set within the organization's ERP and planning systems and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across various business areas. You will leverage your expertise in Supply planning and order promising process and algorithms to ensure that supply planning and Available to Promise runs result in high quality plan output.

To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated self-starter who is highly analytical, inquisitive and has a solid understanding of data storage business and configured systems.  You must have a passion for solving business problems and be a team player with strong communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities

•    Ensure Clean master data is flowing to planning system from various sources
•    Assist in
designing, testing, and maintaining Supply chain data, including, but not limited to Items, Bill of Materials, sourcing splits etc.
•    Perform regular data quality checks and audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness for master data from internal and external sources.
•    Compare supply availability data such as open POs, On-Hand, WIP and Sales orders between source systems and Planning systems to ensure data is complete and accurate
•    Ensure all qualified sales orders are flowing to IBP for order confirmations and backlog report
•    Monitor supply planning and ATP confirmations runs and highlight issues to
support team
•    Ensure Sales Order confirmations are respecting ATP rules and prioritization criteria’s
•    Correct any master data warnings and errors in supply planning and ATP confirmation runs
•    Review trends for order confirmation and highlight/ troubleshoot if trends deviate from normal
•    Assist planners in interpreting and reviewing supply planning and ATP confirmations
•    Prepare/ Update documentation and deliver refresher training
•    Assist Business SME’s in preparing Business Requirements documents
•    Collaborate with IT SME’s for communicating requirements and design discussions
•    Perform User Acceptance
testing for system changes

Job Requirements

•    8+ years of experience in Supply Planning and Order promising processes.
•    5+ years of SAP IBP system implementation / planner experience
•    Hands on experience in SAP IBP time series and order-based planning data models
•    Knowledge of IBP Master data types such as Product, Location, Compound Master data – Location Product, Location Source, Production source Header and Item, Production Data Structures (PDS), Transportation lane.   
•    Knowledge of SAP IBP Configuration for supply & response module 
•    Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel
skills
•    Problem solver and change agent who can identify problems in advance and propose solutions.
•    Ability to build rapport with all key stakeholders.
•    Excellent organizational and time management
skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities while understanding impact on business results.
•    Experience with CPI/DS and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or MBA in Supply Chain / Operations Research
