Bloomberg is looking for an experienced editor to join the leadership team behind Bloomberg Green, the newsroom's award-winning climate publication. This editor will have a strong hand in shaping the full range of our climate journalism, assigning stories on everything from greenhouse gas emissions and government policy to the vivid impacts of rising temperatures.

The role will also have a particular focus on how sustainability strategies and climate solutions play out in the consumer economy. The warming planet and the switch to clean energy are transforming the design of our homes as well as what's parked in our garages, hanging in our closets and served on our dinner plates. This editor will drive stories that explain how consumer choices intersect with emerging technologies on the path to global decarbonization.

The successful candidate will edit explainers on sustainability strategies, exposes on corporate greenwashing, breaking news on the busy climate beat and big-picture enterprise stories. We're looking for someone with proven skills as a story doctor and newsroom diplomat. This editor will have responsibility for a team of reporters and will be expected to deliver sharp, timely and creative journalism across a broad range of topics.

You Will Have:
- Solid knowledge of climate change and corporate sustainability
- A proven track record of collaborating with reporters and editors to break news and deliver enterprise on deadline
- A sense of urgency combined with a track record of working across teams to produce creative work of the highest caliber
-  An ability to think creatively about story presentation, formats and work with different platforms on audience engagement


Salary Range = 120000 - 160000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
