Women in Tech Mentoring Program

Derya Eker

Senior Engineering Manager

Sr. Engineering Manager in the ARC Processors IP team in Solutions Group at Synopsys. Based in the Eindhoven, Netherlands. At ARC, I am leading an engineering team that is responsible for performing system-level verification and validation across ARC processor families. In addition to this I have global responsibilities across the bigger organization, to drive best practices, new technology engagements across products and different Synopsys business units and drive innovation

I am with Synopsys roughly 3,5 years. Prior to joining Synopsys, past 20 years, I worked in both technical and leadership roles at several high-tech companies. Intel, NXP, Ericsson and back in days Philips Semiconductors. Born and raised in Turkey, as an young female engineer I moved to the Netherlands 20 years ago. Interest in technology, innovation, will to learn new things and connecting with new cultures and people was the driving force behind this move. Since then, I did not have any dull moment.
