As a Senior Engagement Manager, you will focus on maximizing value, retention and growth throughout the customer life-cycle. You will help to build, innovate and evolve customers' media, performance and security strategies. Becoming an industry expert, delivering innovative outcomes for customers through efficient relationships, business acumen, and operational focus.

As a Senior Engagement Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Being a technical consultant to achieve the customer's long-term vision for high quality media and web experiences
  • Being a trusted advisor and owning technical program management while maximizing Akamai's platform value for the customer
  • Collaborating with internal teams to streamline service delivery for customers and to ensure team success and efficiency
  • Ensuring delivery and improvements of industry leading technical consultancy and account management to create unparalleled customer loyalty

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 8 years of relevant experience in Computing, Science or Engineering fields and a Bachelors degree or its equivalent
  • Have experience working in account management, customer success, or consulting services in a technical environment
  • Demonstrate experience of delivering large technical customer projects successfully with a focus on customer retention and growth
  • Be knowledgeable on such technologies as HTTPS, DNS, DevOps, Web Development, Web Performance, and Information Security Technologies
  • Demonstrate good written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
  • Be knowledgeable of online streaming technologies and platforms
