The primary objective of the Scrum Master is to help one or more self-organizing, self-managing Scrum Teams achieve predictable delivery of releases. The Scrum Master will help implement, enforce, and improve Scrum Practices based on the SAFe Agile methodology as well as identify and eliminate impediments. The Scrum Master role is also responsible for organizing and facilitating release and sprint planning sessions, daily stand-up meetings, sprint demos, retrospectives, story grooming sessions, and any other Scrum-related meetings.
• Conduct agile ceremonies including but not limited to daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and Sprint Demos.
• Participate in release planning activities and drive towards what can be done.
• Work directly in JIRA to support agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning and be able to create dashboards and queries to support activities such as release-planning.
• Work directly with the agile development teams to answer questions and provide best practices around process and tools
• Develop, analyze and abstract data and metrics utilizing basic data mining tools, business statistics, dashboards and scorecards
• Develop presentations, dashboard and scorecards, and communicate to users and management at various levels.
• Partner with the PO to help get the best from the team and for the team
• Help identify and manage risks and dependencies across teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Related, Engineering, Business, Finance or related subject preferred
• 2+ years of experience in software development preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in agile project management and/or coordination.

• Experience Supporting Project Management Process:
o Project time reporting.
o Estimate/Project risk analysis.
o Identification of tasks and associated hours.
o Progress tracking for projects/tasks
• Experience with Software Engineering best practices
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
• Proficiency in one or more Agile tools such as JIRA or AgileCraft
• Understand basic fundamentals of iterative development
• Understand software development processes and procedures
• Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team
• Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics
• Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
• Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
