As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you'll handle enterprise aspects of our Salesforce.com platform. To be successful, you'll understand business requirements, translate them to effective solutions, and socialize those solutions among your colleagues and business partners.
The Senior Salesforce Administrator role will be part of our Business Applications Team at New Relic, working side by side with Salesforce Administrators and Developers. We utilize agile principles and the scrum framework to deliver high-quality build iterations within the tools we manage.
What you'll do
- Perform customization and configuration of our Salesforce instance and for Service Cloud
- Talk to end-users and operations leaders to understand requirements, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and translate those requirements into technical specifications,design and develop solutions, test and deploy them into the Production.
- Build lightning platform and cross-platform integration solutions based on industry standards
- Support end-users in real-time with issues relating to Salesforce and supported applications.
- Lead all aspects of 3rd party application use and support.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members on Salesforce best practices.
This role requires
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or the equivalent related experience
- 6+ years of hands-on development in Salesforce development, including 5+ years in Service Cloud & Experience Cloud, from business requirements assessment to solutions as well as coordinating/leading solution design, development/configuration, and deployment using Salesforce Service Cloud features
- 5+ years of Salesforce Development experience (Apex, Trigger, Lightning Web Components and SOQL/SOQL) with proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Experience in developing customer-facing interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and UI frameworks within Lightning components.
- Experience with Salesforce Omni Channel, Chat, Entitlements and Milestones.
- Excellent systems integration experience with REST, Web Services APIs and third-party applications.
- Experience automation process with Flows, Process Builder and Salesforce Sharing & Security model.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts, application design principles and design patterns.
- Experience managing large data volumes, considering limits & performance tuning.
- Experience using effective methodologies (e.g. Agile, test-driven development) and continuous development tools (e.g. SFDX, GIT, Jenkins, Ant etc)
- Ability to work autonomously and organize your own time.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Salesforce Platform Developer is required and Platform Developer II or Salesforce Service Cloud Certification are a plus
- Experience with Salesforce Einstein (& for Services), Einstein CoPilot are a plus.
Bonus points if you have
- Experience implementing Salesforce CPQ with Docusign and Billing (e.g. Zuora) integration highly desirable
- Experience with Gainsight strongly preferred
- Experience with Anaplan preferred
- Agile scrum master or product owner training
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or the equivalent related experience.
