The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations: Execute security operations processes including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and monitoring of security systems. Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing analysis and recommendations for resolution. Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and manage the remediation of identified vulnerabilities across systems and networks. Security Monitoring: Monitor security systems and alerts, and respond to security events in a timely manner. Security Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures. Security Tools Management: Manage and optimize security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, etc. Security Awareness: Conduct security awareness training and education programs for staff and promote security best practices throughout the organization. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents, procedures, and solutions. Generate regular reports for management review. Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA) and participate in security audits as required.

Who You Are

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development.   • Must be having 8+ years of experience in SOC Operations.
  • Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with security systems, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, etc.
  • Experience with incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security architecture.
  • Understanding of security standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Must have good communication skill to converse with CISO on Security Policies and Audits.
  • Should be proficient in analysing and solutioning VAPT reports.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
