Position Summary

Huron’s Corporate Workday team is comprised of business-minded technology professionals responsible for the ongoing optimizing of our portfolio through product strategy, solution delivery, and support. Our team partners closely with our business stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities to drive efficiencies and create real outcomes for our business. The Product portfolios focus primarily on Workday but also contain integrations, bots, and other complementary solutions. We partner closely with our client-facing counterparts to share best practices and ensure Huron is at the cutting edge of Workday capabilities.



The Workday Time, Absence, and Payroll (TAP) Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, and configuration across multiple modules within the Workday platform.

Qualifications

Responsibilities: 

  • Support the TAP Product Manager to configure and update workflows, condition rules, notifications, validations, reports, and other module-specific updates. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the US and globally across Human Resources, Benefits, Resource Management, and Operations to recommend and implement system enhancements, and to ensure an efficient and engaging user experience.  

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues. 

  • Support end-users via ServiceNow ticketing system. 

  • Understand the interconnectivity to other modules and anticipate and communicate upstream and downstream impacts of changes.  

  • Be thoughtful to the end user experience and continually look for ways to create a more intuitive, efficient experience for our internal customers.   

  • Prepare files in Excel to load bulk changes, primarily at year-end, which is an administratively heavy time for the team. 

  • Implement new functionality and fixes made available by the weekly and bi-annual Workday releases.   

  • Reviews bi-annual release items for Workday TAP, completes regression and new feature testing, and reviews enhancements with stakeholders.  

  • Leverage Workday Community to research solutions, contribute Brainstorms, and seek help.   

  • Partner with our PSA, FIN, Reporting, Integrations, Security, and other HCM teams to support and optimize current offerings and continue to rollout new functionality. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 2-4 years of experience in the areas of Workday Time, Absence or Payroll is required. 

  • Excel data analysis and manipulation skills 

  • Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbally and use those skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions, talk through options, and help eliminate roadblocks 

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders and internal teams. 

  • Outstanding follow through and attention to detail. 

  • Independent analysis and problem resolution skills is needed given the nature of the work
