We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud and Infrastructure Administrator proficient in on-premises server technologies, Azure, Okta, Box, and Office 365 to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and security of our systems and applications, particularly those related to identity and access management, cloud storage, and productivity suites. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure to support the company's needs.
This position is based in our New York office and reports to the Head of Cloud and Infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and administer Okta identity and access management platform, including user provisioning, authentication policies, and group management.
- Oversee SharePoint, Box and other cloud storage platforms, including configuration, access controls, and data governance policies.
- Maintain and optimize Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, networking, and storage solutions.
- Administer Office 365 applications and services, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams, ensuring availability, security, and compliance.
- Implement and manage single sign-on (SSO) via Okta across various applications and platforms.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and integrate new technologies and services.
- Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and best practices related to system administration tasks.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements to the technology infrastructure.
- Act as a subject matter expert for our technology support staff, providing guidance, training and expertise in troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare, implement, and monitor disaster procedures for business continuity and recovery.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years administrating systems/cloud and infrastructure or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven experience with the technologies noted in the key responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, including LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and Active Directory.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Powershell) and PowerAutomate for automation and task scheduling.
- Linux system administration.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).
- Experience with other cloud platforms and services, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
