What You'll Do:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Americas Innovation & Expertise department. This position is suited for someone passionate about both frontend and backend development using JavaScript/Angular/React for frontend and Python/Flask for backend.

Our engineering team develops robust solutions for internal tools, using JavaScript frameworks, HTML/CSS, and Python-based backends. This role is ideal for a Full-Stack Engineer interested in building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions that cater to a diverse range of clients.

You will collaborate with the other members of the Innovation & Expertise teams, especially the Solutions Engineering team and the Software Engineering team, to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and proactively suggest new ideas to enhance efficiency and performance. You will maintain and improve internal and external existing solutions.

The ideal candidate is a fast, autonomous learner with a strong technical background and a history of creative problem-solving.

You will report to the head of the Americas Solutions Engineering team, while supporting both Retail Media and Performance Marketing businesses.

As this role supports our global business, work hours will be between 12:30 PM IST to 09:30 PM IST (March – October) and 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST during daylight savings (November – February).

  • Implement web applications using JavaScript/ Angular/React, HTML, and CSS, with direct DOM manipulation for frontend development.

  • Develop backend solutions using Python/Flask, building RESTful APIs, managing databases, and handling server-side logic.

  • Integrate front and backend systems to ensure seamless operation and maintain a high standard of existing code libraries.

  • Build and maintain innovative tools, automated solutions, and new product features.

  • Partner with peers in R&D, product, operations, and other technical teams to solve complex challenges.

  • Support in-market Americas solutions and software engineers for standardized and ad hoc tasks

  • Develop best practices in terms of building sustainable code and will provide consulting to the in-market Americas engineers

Who You Are:

  • Strong technical background (degree in Computer Science, software development bootcamp completion, or equivalent work experience).

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience.

  • Familiarity with full-stack and web development concepts, including but not limited to RESTful API development, SQL (of any dialect), Angular (or similar frameworks) and HTML templating.

  • Experience in backend development using Python/Flask and RESTful API design.

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end styling and interactivity.

  • Knowledge of databases and data manipulation techniques.

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD workflows.

  • Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

  • Ability to work across different time zones and collaborate with various development teams.
