No, these questions shouldn't even come to your mind. PMs are not developer who can't code. Program/Product Management is a different discipline which requires a diverse set of skills.
In the era where humongous data is just a click away, but girls/women find it tough to make career transition. The lack of support from higher ups/family and glorification of SDE role adds undue pressure.

Vidhi Jindal is working as Program Manager 2 in Azure team at Microsoft USA. She has four plus years of industry experience in three separate roles. She earned MS degree with Machine Learning specialization from Georgia Institute of Technology.
She loves to share her experience with community to support girls/women in Tech. She is working in D&I initiatives as a lead in her org at Microsoft. She mentored girls in the past to pursue development and hosted workshop on Azure DevOps which was attended by 30+ devs at Microsoft.
