Session: Strategic Leadership to Innovate
Nowadays, with technological advances and digital transformation, it has become relevant for all companies in different sectors (industry, banking, insurance, etc.), to ensure that they are at the forefront and that their products and/or services are recognized by their customers. Thus, innovation becomes important so that all companies can implement it strategically and that it fosters leadership within organizations. In this talk, I will introduce you to the most important steps to implement a culture of innovation in your organization.
Bio
My name is Fabiola Amador I am Mexican, born in Mexico City. I studied Computer Systems Engineering with a specialty in Artificial Intelligence from Tecnológico de Toluca, with a Master's Degree in Quality Engineering at the Iberoamerican University, Diploma in Black Belt training in Six Sigma methodology, also at Ibero, Innovation Leadership Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I have the following certifications: Scrum Master by Scrum Alliance, Scrum Developer, Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Agile Master and Scrum Trainer by Scrum Study, ITIL Foundation, CMMI Fundamentals and ISO9000 Internal Auditor.
I have more than 20 years of experience in program and project management, in areas of Business, Information Technology and Continuous Improvement, for financial companies, Insurance, Software Factories, and Consulting Firms. Currently, I am Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Delivery Executive Manager (DEM) at GFT México, I am responsible for the operation in Mexico and I support the Country Manager in executing the country's strategy, as well as managing the the second bank in Mexico and other accounts.
I had managed different improvement programs such as the implementation of ISO-9000 in Bital (HSBC), CMMI for Volkswagen and Banamex. I was in charge of transformation programs such as the migration of SGMM's operation in Seguros Monterrey New York Life, as well as the implementation of the Solvency II regulation in AIG.
I coordinate work teams at a national and international level, directing up to 230 people and managing suppliers. Implementation and operation of project offices, provision of training in project management, as well as design and development of performance indicators. Enabling auditing and continuous improvement processes, supporting the profitability of companies.
I have given different conferences related to leadership and empowering women within Information Technologies.
I have strong skills in planning, organization, execution, results orientation, teamwork, analysis and synthesis, collaboration, customer focus, conflict management, work under pressure, strategic vision, and people development.
I consider myself a persistent executive in the search for excellence through effective monitoring and the promotion of cooperation between the different areas of the organization.
