Session: Unlock Business Buy-In for Techies: Pitch Big Ideas with Impact
As technical professionals, we're often faced with the challenge of gaining leadership support and resources for our bold, innovative ideas. However, the art of persuasion is rarely taught in engineering curricula. This session aims to change that.
Our purpose is to equip you with proven strategies for effectively communicating the business value of your technical proposals. You'll learn from seasoned women engineering leaders who have mastered the art of bridging the gap between technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Throughout the session, you'll explore common use cases where techies need to secure buy-in from additional time and headcount to budget approvals. You'll then dive into framing your ideas in a way that resonates with non-technical decision-makers, highlighting the concrete business benefits.
