About the role
As a UX Research Lead, you’ll be setting up the UX Research practice within Miro’s Growth stream. You’ll have the autonomy to collaborate with cross-functional leaders across the area to figure out what that practice should be like, and how much weight to place towards hiring and mentorship vs. research enablement vs. directly owning high impact studies yourself. When it comes to the latter, some open questions you’ll be able to dive into range from how to inform funnel optimization through in-depth qualitative insights, to helping Miro understand potential new audiences, all while working closely with data analysts and market researchers.
One of the most unique aspects of the Growth stream, in particular, is the very high-level of engagement from non-researchers who are conducting their own studies. So, you’ll also have the opportunity to put in place the practices (e.g. mentorship, enablement, skills training) that encourage the continuation of this work, while ensuring it meets, if not surpasses, the quality bar.
About the team
At Miro, the UX Research team is fully embedded in various product streams, while still operating as a tight-knit, centralized craft. Our mission is to inform decision-making across the organization through systematic, evidence-based insights. Our work and processes are fully integrated in the product development lifecycle, and we collaborate with our cross-functional partners – from Design to Product Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, Customer Success, and more – to define and prioritize the highest-impact research questions. We enjoy having ownership and autonomy in a fast-paced environment and impact millions of users who rely on Miro every day to collaborate and create the next big thing.
For this role, you’ll be working within Miro’s Growth stream, the team that is responsible for acquiring, activating, engaging, retaining, and monetizing all new users. - Define, set, and measure usability scores for the Growth stream
- Help identify, in collaboration with market researchers, new audiences for Miro to target
- Contribute, alongside data analysts and market researchers, towards developing a pricing structure that can scale alongside new products and features added to Miro
