The Sales Operations Analyst for SUSE Americas is a member of the Global Customer Operations team and reports into the Global Head of Field Operations. The Sales Operations organization is a professional, committed and dynamic international team which provide an invaluable contribution to the success of the business..
The role encompasses analysis, reporting and support for all aspects of the sales process including Forecasting, Pipeline Management, CRM Hygiene, Commission Disputes, Account Assignments and Data Reconciliation leveraging Salesforce CRM (SFDC), Power BI, and Excel. The Sales Operations analyst will work with the members of the GCO organization to support the GEO Presidents and their leadership teams in achieving their bookings, revenue and pipeline targets.
Other responsibilities include regular communication with the sales team to support data hygiene, opportunity management as well as ad hoc projects.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting the sales operations leaders with preparation of the weekly forecast
- Drive data hygiene & operational best practices with the Americas field sales team
- Ensure SFDC & Compensation tools reflect current & accurate sales territory assignments
- Validation of actual bookings values and route to market associations
- Support monthly compensation data validation for preparation of commission calculation
- Monitor compensation disputes, ensuring response & resolution times are being achieved by the team, partnering with finance & operations
- Provide regular Pipeline & Forecast health analysis to regional leadership
- Maintain Americas Meeting calendar for Enablement, New Hire, QBRs as well as preparation of slide decks as necessary
Candidate Qualifications:
The position requires a candidate with strong people skills to support collaborating with multiple disciplines and business units across the company. Likewise, the ability to work effectively across different cultures, team spirit, and a can-do and proactive approach is essential. Preferred experience working in the sales, finance or marketing, ideally in a fast paced high tech environment or exposure to similar industry. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn on a regular basis..
Typically, candidates will have a University level education. Exposure to CRM and some financial concepts is ideal.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's in Business Management or equivalent
- Typically 0-2 years experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience or understanding of data collection and analysis tools and software packages.
- Good analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
- Basic understanding of business and sales operations processes and practices
- Good written and verbal communication skills
