Although diversity and inclusion strategies are in place in many sectors, their effectiveness in closing the gender gap is still debatable. Often, these initiatives are more focused on appearances than on implementing substantive changes. Without addressing deeper systemic issues such as unconscious bias and unequal pay, the impact of D&I efforts on the gender gap remains limited.
