Session: Communicate Your Way to the C-Suite
There are many pathways to the C-Suite, and one path is through mastering the art of communication. Through communication, you can mobilize, motivate or mend people, which are the 3 main conversation types that you'll have with people. You're here today because you're smart, talented and have that special drive, but if you can't mobilize people to work towards your vision, motivate your team to keep pushing higher, and help mend stressed out minds, you'll have a harder time accomplishing goals and climbing that elusive ladder.
The secret sauce is to hone it on individual personalities and archetypes. For some people, you need to communicate through data and spreadsheets, with others it might be through small talk, and others simply through listening more than talking. It's a balance of being authentic and intentional at the same time.
Tune into this fireside chat to hear about Carol's non-linear growth to becoming a Chief of Staff when all odds were against her, and to hear about Sherry's journey and learnings from being an executive sales leader, tech & sales performance coach, and financial planner.
