Session: Empowering employees to speak up with tech
Everyone deserves to feel safe at work. Yet 1 in 2 women in the UK have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace, according to research from the TUC.
Harassment can be devastating to workers’ mental and physical health. Feelings of powerlessness and loneliness can then be amplified by an arduous reporting process. In the US, the EEOC estimates that 75% of all workplace harassment incidents go unreported. It’s clear that existing reporting tools and processes are not working.
During this event, Lauren will share her story as someone who has experienced and reported workplace harassment, and her journey to building products that amplify employees’ voices and ensure cases are resolved in an efficient and respectful way. Lauren will explain what you can do if you’re experiencing mistreatment at work, and the technology that Vault Platform has created to help.
