Responsibilities:

- Integrating and developing new features in C/C++ (e.g. routing functionality);
- Contributing to software architecture and clarifying requirements in cooperation with the client and the team;
- Performing code analysis, refactoring and optimizing legacy code
- Utilizing common design patterns as well as the advantages of object oriented programming;
- Developing robust and effective code and ensuring high quality of embedded code by performing unit tests, simulation on real data (software in the loop) as well as simulation of the software on the target hardware (hardware in the loop)

Must have:

- Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering or similar qualification
- Automotive experience
- Strong C++ background, as well as an understanding of object-oriented programming and design
- Experience in at least one Scripting language (Python, lua)
- Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle, including testing, code coverage, and code quality
- Open to learn new tech and adjust to new ways of working
- Excellent communication skills in English (writing & speaking) along with team spirit
- Self-organized and diligent

Nice to have:

- Experience with CAN, Flexray and/or Ethernet in Automotive context
- Experience with Qt and QML
- Embedded understanding and software debugging skills, understanding of low-level limitations and performance optimization
- Experience in driver or kernel development under Linux or QNX, also in open-source projects
- Experience in Autosar Classic or Adaptive Autosar
- Italian and/or German language
