The Role

The primary mission for the Head of HR Business Partnering & Strategy will be to enhance the maturity and scalability of our People team, ensuring they are well recognized as strategic allies within the organization. Our dynamic team of People Business Partners along with one Compensation and Benefit specialist, located across Romania, Germany, and Spain, is seeking a visionary leader. This person will support us in becoming highly responsive to the needs of our stakeholders by championing a strategic, data-driven approach and mindset.

What you'll do

  • Strategic Leadership: Guide the People Business Partner function and the Compensation and Benefit specialist, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a strategic partnership with business leaders.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a cross functional team, ensuring effective performance and professional growth.
  • Project Involvement: Engage in strategic cross-functional People projects including workforce planning, compensation reviews, revising performance management systems, and developing leadership development initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to take core decisions for the business, lead strategic initiatives, enhance team scalability, and drive organizational growth.
  • Leadership Support: Provide coaching and development support to leaders, encouraging data-driven approaches and proactive engagement.
  • Effective Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement impactful people strategies.
  • Report directly to Vice President of People and Organization.

 

What you bring to the table

  • Minimum of 10 years in HR related roles and 4-5 years in leadership roles within HR teams across international, large-scale organizations (1,000+ employees).
  • Experience leading the Business Partner function, providing world-class leadership and guidance. Mentor and develop the team to ensure People Business Partners effectively drive business success.
  • Experience developing strategic initiatives from scratch, including total rewards, workforce planning, enhancing performance management systems and processes, and spearheading leadership development programs.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, disciplinary processes, and experience/willingness to work in multi-country jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency with HR analytics, key performance indicators, and leadership dashboards. Experience with ticketing systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, adaptability in high-paced, high-pressure environments, and resilience in the face of last-minute requests and strategic changes.
  • You are driven by transformation and the ability to make a significant strategic impact.
