Current legal frameworks have undoubtedly made strides toward gender equity in the tech industry. However, they often fall short due to loopholes, lack of enforcement, and the difficulties in proving discrimination or harassment. Many argue that these frameworks need to be strengthened and updated to reflect the realities of the modern workplace, including remote work, and to address subtler forms of bias and exclusion.
