My motivation to join this amazing community is to foster the powerful impact of women supporting other women as well as imparting knowledge gained by myself over the years as being a woman in tech, I feel this as my responsibility to educate the masses in digitalized space and prepare them for a better future. I am grateful to Anna Radulovski and the Womentech team for giving me this opportunity to help amplify women in tech.
Share with us about your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction.
I am a technology and transformation consultant, futurist and professional advisor working full-time as AI & Analytics Solutions Architect at Ericsson, MMEA. I have over 13 years of diversified corporate and consulting experience across the telecom industry in wireless and futuristic technologies. From an early age, I always had a thing for numbers, and while I excelled in mathematics the subject which I was most passionate about was Physics. Later when it was time to decide on a career, although my folks wanted me to be a chartered accountant but my personal ambition was to study business combined with my spark for Physics, so I got inclined towards Telecommunications. After graduating back in 2009, I joined a satellite company, SUPARCO as Assistant Manager in the Systems Engineering Department. In 2011, I entered the corporate world by joining Ericsson which proved to be the biggest stepping stone for my career in the ICT industry. I got a variety of opportunities to consult local and international telecom giants in designing and optimizing wireless networks, deployment and performance management, presales, and service delivery. In 2021, I joined the AI & Analytics area to grow as an AI business leader and support customers in their AI journey. During my executive MBA, I got inspired for social entrepreneurship, especially in the field of education and training and I started my own consulting firm AKS Consulting Space in 2020 which aspires to transform youth, women, and organizations by offerings focused on Sustainable Development Goals
Why is the topic “Leading Digital Transformation as Digital Champions” important to you?
This topic is important to me because as the world changes at an alarming rate owing to the latest technologies, I firmly believe that we need to prepare ourselves for the technology-driven world with its uncertainties. Although there is no denying that the future would be more efficient, sustainable and can possibly unlock great human potential but if not tackled rightly can wreak a colossal calamity too. For any individual, organization, or business to thrive it's not enough to compete and evolve but outgrow the barriers facing them in the coming future and this is not possible without recognizing the impact of digital transformation in every sphere of lives. To achieve this, more tech change agents need to be trained to overhaul old ways of thinking and act to access their infinite capacity and potential for imagination, creativity, and innovation towards a collaborative world.
Who would you advise to attend the Women in Tech Global Conference and why?

For youth, it’s a great opportunity to increase knowledge and get inspired by the tremendous achievements and career journeys of women in tech across the globe. I believe it’s an amazing platform to shift their mindset to more gender-neutral when it comes to technology.
