I will be discussing the steps and strategies for my career growth, specifically how to become a Senior Software Engineer at Meta through the Pathway program. I will also share practices that can be applied by other female Computer Scientists (or anyone) and provide tips on how to deal with Imposture Syndrome as a woman in tech. Bio
I am a Senior Software Engineer at Meta with over 3 years of experience and have been working as a Software Engineer for over 8 years. I work and live in San Francisco. I am originally from Turkey and came to the USA 12 years ago for my undergraduate degree. I studied Computer Science and started working as an engineer after college. I joined Meta in 2021 as a Software Engineer. During my free time, I enjoy yoga (I am currently in the process of completing yoga teacher training), spending time outdoors, traveling, reading, and learning about human behavior and psychology
