As a customer-facing team we provide exceptional consultancy, designing and building quality solutions for our clients. You will focus on maximising value, retention and growth throughout the customer life-cycle. You will help to build, innovate and evolve customers' performance, security, media or DevOps strategies. Becoming an industry expert by delivering innovative outcomes for customers. All that through efficient relationships, business acumen, and operational focus.

As a Technical Consultant II, you will be responsible for:

• Working as a central point of contact for the customer and cross-functional teams to encourage account growth
• Consulting to achieve the customer's long-term vision for a high-quality and secure experience online
• Being a trusted technical advisor by maximising Akamai's platform value for the customer
• Supporting customer enablement with training and presentations
• Collaborating with internal teams to streamline service delivery for customers and to ensure team success and efficiency

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have solid experience working as a technical consultant
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of internet technologies and online industry (HTTPS, DNS, DevOps, Web Development and Information Security)
• Demonstrate good written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
• Have hands on experience with Hyperscalers (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) and security products knowledge - additional asset
