Synopsys Zebu Solutions delivers 2X the emulation performance over competing emulation solutions to enable SOC Verification and software bring-up and to address the exploding verification requirements of SoCs. Zebu Solutions include Zebu Server, Zebu EP1 , Zebu Empower and Zebu Solutions Transactors , Memory Models and Speed Adaptor solutions. 
 
Synopsys HAPS Prototyping is one of the key solutions as it enables verification with real world interface and enabling software development and helps to catch bugs found during system validation. Synopsys’s HAPS Based Prototyping includes HAPS hardware and HAPS ProtoCompiler tools that provides design automation and debug for the HAPS Series of FPGA-based prototypes. Features include FPGA synthesis for HAPS, system planning, RTL debug and system bring-up utilities.


Responsibilities
 
You will be working as Principal Application Engineer in Synopsys’s Design group.  You will be responsible for product support & deployment for Synopsys’s  Hardware Assisted Verification products. You will have the opportunity to work with customers to help successfully prototype and / or emulate their multi-million gate ASIC designs.
 
This job provides an opportunity for you to be involved in highly technically challenging evaluations of Synopsys’s Zebu and HAPS Based Prototyping Solutions Products.  You will part of Product Application Engineering team who act as experts and provides extended support to our field AE team. The responsibility includes supporting Synopsys customers for product evaluations. Activity includes pre-sale and post-sale support. you may be required to travel to work in customer sites for specific periods of time.  You will be required to publish solvent articles and developing application notes based on customer experiences.  You will be responsible for developing training materials required for the customers.   You are also expected to contribute improving the Quality of Results in the tools and propose new flows and features. 
 
Minimum Requirements 
BS with minimum 10-12 years of relevant experience or MS with minimum 8-10 years of experience.   
 
Preferred Skills 
 Understanding in Emulation and/or Prototyping flows, systems, and methodologies
Proven proficiency in one or more of Verilog, SystemVerilog & VHDL is required
Good understanding of verification concepts, self-checking test benches with experience in any functional simulator is required
Good understanding of SW/HW debug methodologies with prior experience in any of standard SW/HW debug tools
Good understanding of synthesis and timing concepts is required
Experience in any of the scripting language is required
Complex Problem solving and debugging skills are essential
Good understanding in Simulation flows, Assertion, DPI, and Transactors
Good understanding of SOC design and common protocols like PCIe, Ama, USB, MIPI, DSI, and Ethernet is required. 
Understanding in Synopsys Solutions and Tools like Zebu, HAPS, VCS, Verdi, Zebu, ProtoCompiler, Synplify, VCS, DC, and Formality will be a plus Understanding and previous experience with Xilinx & Altera architecture and Toolchains will be a plus
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customer
