Applications Engineering, Architect

Synopsys is looking for a hands-on, energetic, and passionate Architect of Application Engineering to lead the product engineering team of PrimeTime in India. PrimeTime is a market leader and is leading in driving next generation technology and solutions in timing signoff domain. As part of the role would be to manage and build a strong product expert team, driving deployments and working with customers to help them successfully signing off chips.


The Ideal Candidate Should

·         Have excellent organizational and project management skills.

·         Interact with the field and customers for the analysis of the requirements and the writing of the technical specifications for R&D.

·         Participate in technical and architectural discussions.

·         Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.

·         Collaborate with product teams across Synopsys as needed to build/enable innovative and differentiated products.

·         Contribute to Synopsys’ high-quality standards by ensuring solutions are well validated and regressed before delivering to the customers

·         Be able to quickly visualize and build the overall problem statement to a customer technical problem

·         Supply technical guidance and coaching to other product engineers

·         Participate in key stakeholder meetings, convince on technical decisions and align with Synopsys best practices.

 

Key Requirements

·         BE/B.Tech/BS/MS/M.Tech or equivalent, required with 5-8 years of experience

·         Hands-on digital design and verification processes

·         In depth understanding of Timing analysis and related areas.

·         Familiarity with scripting languages e.g. Tcl, Perl, Python

·         Demonstrated good data-backed debug & problem solving skills

·         Excellent verbal and written presentation/communication skills are mandatory

·         Good experience in EDA, Digital design and methodology
