About the role

Are you looking for an internship that provides hands-on experience in research publishing and the chance to make connections at one of the largest publishers of education and research content?

The Springer Nature Opening Doors internship, Collections Management and Acquisition is a paid opportunity in China to gain experience in research publishing for our journals.

The successful applicant will spend up to six months within Collections Management and Acquisition, part of the Research Publishing division of Springer Nature. If selected for this internship, you will be working on data sourcing/analysis to support topic identification, engaging global researchers to host topic collections and perform Research Integrity checks via multiple tools.

About us:

The Collections Management and Acquisition Team is part of the Publishing Performance & Intelligence group within our Research Publishing division and is responsible for providing expertise and dedicated resources to support the growth of commissioned content across the SN Journal portfolio. 

About you:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or Ph.D. program
  • Available to start in June 2025 for an internship of up to six months
  • Strong interest in research publishing
  • Fluent in written and oral English
  • Experience in scientific research

How to apply:

The internship will start in June for a duration of maximum 6 months and is based in Springer Nature Shanghai or Beijing office on a hybrid working model with up to three days a week working from home.
